Daniel Herron didn’t exactly elevate your team to a win in the first round of the Fantasy playoffs. However he’s carving out a larger slice of the Colts offense for himself each week. Herron out carried Hagar the Horrible Trent Richardson eight to seven, and continued to do damage in the passing game, hauling in four catches on seven targets. Richardson was held without a single look from Andrew Luck. Herron’s role on passing downs almost assures he’ll out snap Richardson 2:1 moving forward, and in this high powered offense, Fantasy points will follow… Jonathan Stewart had four years of pent up aggression and unleashed it all on the Saints defense – no wonder he was so quick. STEWMANJI broke 100 rushing yards for the first time since 2010. No word yet on whether DeAngelo Williams will return next week, but if he doesn’t, Stewart’s the top RB add with Tampa and Cleveland the next two weeks. If word trickles out that Williams will be back, move Herron ahead of Stewart as a priority pickup… Jerick McKinnon’s back has him finished for the season, and thinking the Vikings will welcome Adrian Peterson back into the mix is shortsighted, once again leaving Matt Asiata as the last man standing. No, Asiata’s not very good, but he did get 40-percent of Minnesota’s touches against the Jets. That has value. You’re never going to start him over a quality option, however Aisata will consistently rank somewhere between RB25-RB30 for the rest of the season. He’s perfect if you’re running back situation seems hopeless… Tony Sparano indicated Latavius Murray wouldn’t be run into the ground over Oakland’s final few games. He lied. Murray was the primary ball carrier in the Raiders’ backfield. In theory that all sounds great, until you remember it’s the Raiders offense, that caps his upside. Murray is a capable plug if you’re suffering form RB issues, especially in Week 15 against the Chiefs. Although, things get tougher Week 16 against the Bills… Andre Williams’ impact is tied to Rashad Jennings’ health. If Jennings is a full participant in practice during the week, it’s going to be difficult to trust Williams moving forward… Someone named Kerwynn Williams garnered the plurality of touches in the Cardinals backfield. Don’t think Kerwynn Williams’ mom would have even predicted that. Either way, with Andre Ellington’s heading to IR, Williams is the Arizona RB you want to own. Except, you don’t want to own any Cardinals RB the rest of the season, they’re at St. Louis on Thursday night, then host Seattle in Week 16. I don’t like the sounds of those matchups. In deep leagues, he may be the top option available, just don’t think you’re getting a game changer…. Remember, if you’re only adding running backs to your bench with no intention of starting them this week, just hoard handcuffs, whether you have the starter or not. They possess the most upside of all available RBs.

Jarvis Landry didn’t take full advantage of the soft matchup against the Ravens, but did end up leading the Dolphins in receptions, yards and targets. He’ll linger as a fringe Top 30 WR for the remainder of the season… AHHHHHHHHHHH Charles Johnson!!! In his first game as the official ‘X’ receiver in Minnesota, he cashed in on a cushy opponent, piling up 103 yards and a score on a team high eight targets. Just missed a second TD too. I’d have him higher, but Johnson’s in Detroit next week, followed by a trip to Miami. Through attrition Johnson will be useful, but this was likely his apex of Fantasy production… If DeSean Jackson misses another week, Pierre Garçon is MUST PLAY. If DJAX returns, Garçon is probably not even worth owning. Funny how that works… Allen Hurns wound up with more targets than Marqise Lee, and even found pay dirt, but I’d put my trust in Lee if I was to roster a Jags’ WR. Lee runs crisper routes which has translated far more of his looks into actual catches the past three weeks. Lee’s last three games: 14 receptions on 21 targets… Brandon Marshall is out for AT LEAST Week 15 (and probably the season), leaving Marquess Wilson with a gigantic opportunity to have an immediate impact against the Saints. Maybe the only defensive unit worse than the ragtag crew the Bears trot out on the field… If Torrey Smith’s knee continues to have him hobbled, Kamar Aiken is the name to watch. He soaked up six receptions and a score on seven targets replacing a gimped up Smith… Just because Stedman Bailey only finished with two catches, don’t immediately toss him back on the Week 15 waiver wire scrap heap. Eventually the Rams will actually have to pass in the second half. Unless they truly are an unstoppable juggernaut. Unlikely… I’m convinced Browns receivers would have a better chance of producing useful Fantasy lines if the Cleveland turf eating bird was under center, not Brian Hoyer.

Best of Week 14
