FANTASY FOOTBALL – It’s Time to Believe in Alfred Morris
Yesterday Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden came out and said this on RB Alfred Morris, “He’s Caught the ball very well, too, which is quite the surprise for us out of the backfield”. All I can say is that this development has caused me to re-consider where I have Morris ranked. If he can continue to excel in the passing game throughout training camp and the pre-season, he will enter 1st round territory in terms of where he should be drafted. The one thing that had him sitting outside the top-10 in my RB rankings was his inability to catch in what should be a very pass happy offense. No more! says Gruden and Yes Please! say fantasy owners everywhere.

The most underrated Fantasy Football draft strategy: Drafting a QB early. Find out why it’s a must in 2014 here.
FANTASY FOOTBALL – Fantasy Football Sleepers: Brandin Cooks
Once again owners are looking for anything to give them the edge over the competition in order to propel them to their league titles. One of the keys to making that dream come true is examining which Fantasy Football sleepers you should target in your league drafts. One of the best options to fill that void in 2014 is New Orleans Saints rookie WR Brandin Cooks. Last season the Saints’ top pass catcher was TE Jimmy Graham who brought in 86 balls for 1215 YDS and 16 TDs. As a fantasy owner you can probably expect around the same from Graham, but when you look at the other receiving options for the Saints, it’s a toss up as to who will be the go to WR. Will it be the aging Marques Colston — who has only played 3 full seasons in the last 8 years — a guy, who caught less than 1,000 YDS for the first time in five years in 2013? Could it be sophomore WR Kenny Stills who started 10 games as a rookie and finished with a respectable 641 YDS and 5 TD? Maybe, but he remains likely to be the deep threat in the Saints’ passing arsenal.
